By selecting a pre-designed email template you can save the information that frequently appears in your messages so that it is not necessary to retype or even copy and paste it every time. Open up the Gmail Website login to your Account with your login Credentials.
Click the gear icon at the top right corner of the screen and then click “Settings” from the drop-down list.
Click the “Labs” tab from the “Settings” screen.
Scroll down to “Canned Responses” and click the radio button next to “Enable.”
Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page. After this Gmail will reload in order for the changes to take effect.
Click “Compose” at the top left side of the screen. Click the “Canned responses” link and then click “New canned response…” from the drop-down list. Type a name for the new template and click “Ok.”
Enter the text you want to use for the email template along with your preferred formatting. Leave the “To” and “Subject” fields empty as these are not saved along with the template.
Click the “Canned responses” link and then click the name of your template below the “Save” option on the drop-down list. Click “Ok” when prompted whether you are sure you want to proceed.
Click “Discard” to return to the main Gmail screen after your template is saved.
