If you discover multiple spam comments with different email domains all use the same IP address, copy this IP address and paste it in a separate line in the Blacklist field.
Step 5 (Block by Blacklist Words)
Except Emails and IP address other way to stop spam is to add Blacklist words in Blacklist field that you suppose to have in your spam comments. For example, you want to make WordPress to trash those comments having words pharmaceuticals in it. If you want to stop for other words you need to write them in separate lines.
